Armenia in brief

Montenegro suits those who need a fast and well-defined residence permit outside the EU: there are many grounds (employment, contracted services, intra-corporate transfer, digital nomad, property ownership), decisions take 20–40 days, and the country uses the euro. Several things constrain it: citizenship only after 10 years and with renunciation of the previous one, no family reunification route for an adult applicant's parents, a work permit tied to the employer and capped by quota, low salaries nationwide, and no verified median for IT. From 1 November 2026 the visa regime has been aligned with EU rules: visa-free entry has been withdrawn for some countries. The coast is a seismically active zone.
